Farm Drijade

Eleven years ago, Hela Liveric left her nurse job and the comfort of city life, sold an apartment and started a new life on a rural estate she inherited from her grandparents. Her dream of a happy animal farm began to come true: Hela now lives in the Istrian village of Šumber, in the village of Jurseti, on a farm with two hundred and fifty goats, few cows, few horses, a donkey and a Vietnamese pigs. Hela knows every animal by its name, character, needs and fears. She knows how they behave when they are sick or happy. At her farm, sick animals retire because there are always enough healthy ones to work. She called the livestock breeding practice emotional cattle breeding.
